Samsung teases Exynos 9825 launching on August 7, expected to power the Galaxy Note 10

Historically, the Samsung Galaxy S family of devices and the Note series launched in the same year are powered by the same chipset. It looks like 2019 is the year where this changes. The Galaxy S10 series of smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip and Exynos 9820 chipset. It looks like the Note 10 and Note 10 Pro will be powered by the Exynos 9825 chipset which is expected to cater to the drawbacks of the 9820. Samsung’s Exynos official twitter handle has released a teaser hinting at the new processor. The 11-second teaser doesn't reveal any concrete information about the chipset. The teaser throws words like "evolved", "next-level" and "intelligent processor".

Samsung is expected to launch two models, the regular Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10 Pro. The major difference between the phones is possibly the size of the display. A report claimed that the regular Note 10 will have a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, while the Pro variant will sport a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel. The Note 10 series is expected to come in Black, White and Silver colours along with a red and pink version. Unfortunately, no lavender purple colour has been leaked so far.

Moving to the optics, it is expected that the Galaxy Note 10 Plus will reportedly come with a quad-camera setup while the smaller variant will have a triple camera setup. Leaked renders show the cameras are vertically aligned instead of the horizontal set up in the previous Note series. Based on leaks, the Galaxy Note 10’s camera stack will come with a 12MP primary camera with a dual aperture that can go till f/1.5 along with a 12MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra-wide camera.
