Malaysia's Johor state, which has approved 51 data centre projects as of November, stops approvals for new low-tier data centers citing high water consumption  —  JOHOR will stop approving applications for Tier 1 and Tier 2 data centres due to their massive water consumption, which can reach up to 50 million litres a day.
