A lack of consensus on what defines an AI “agent” is leading to customer frustration, as Microsoft, OpenAI, Salesforce, and others market it differently  —  Silicon Valley is bullish on AI agents.  OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said agents will “join the workforce” this year.
