Naver marks South Korea's entry in ChatGPT-style AI race

South Korean internet giant Naver is launching generative AI services, called Cue and chatbot CLOVA X, to take on global rivals in the lucrative market, which includes companies like OpenAI, Google, and Baidu. The company has based its technology on the HyperCLOVA X model and has reportedly developed its own large language model with over 100 billion parameters. Naver’s services will be unveiled this week in Seoul, in a bid to safeguard its position in Asia against Alphabet’s Google. https://ift.tt/6k7BEMb
