Intel and Samsung wants to replace your clamshell PC with a ‘slidable’ one

Intel came up with an unexpected announcement at its keynote, a 'slidable' PC. During Intel's Innovation keynote, JS Choi, CEO of Samsung Displays, joined Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger onstage, showing off a prototype of a 17-inch slidable display for PCs – a world first. Pull on the edge of the prototype, and the 13-inch display turns into a 17-inch one, becoming a small monitor from being about the size of a tablet. This device will satisfy various needs for a larger screen and portability as well,” said Choi. https://ift.tt/vifsjNY
