ClassDojo, a school communications app for teachers, students and families, raises $30M, says it became profitable in 2019, and tripled its revenue in 2020  —  ClassDojo's first eight years as an edtech consumer startup could look like failure: zero revenue; no paid users; and a team that hasn't aggressively grown in years.
