7 most valuable US tech companies added a combined $3.4T in market cap in 2020: Apple gained ~$1T, Amazon $710B, Microsoft $480B, Alphabet $268B, Facebook $193B  —  - Apple's market cap jumped by almost $1 trillion this year, followed by Amazon, which increased by over $700 billion.
