Samsung has already rolled out the Android 10 update for its Galaxy S10 series of smartphones and it seems like the Note10 series of handsets are next. As per a report by SamMobile, the South-Korean smartphone manufacturer is now rolling out the Android 10 update with One UI 2.0 for its Note10 series of phones, which includes the Galaxy Note10 and the Note10+. However, the update is said to be hitting devices that were already enrolled in the beta programme for One UI 2.0 in Germany. The update is said to feature the version number N97*FXXU1BSL7 and weighs in around 145MB for beta users.
We can expect the rollout to continue and broaden over time and surely, we will report when the update starts rolling out in India. However, we recall that the Android 10 update for the Galaxy S10 series of handsets was about 2GB in size and the smaller size update might be only for Note10 users on One UI beta since under the program, they received five firmware updates. So, for users who aren’t on the beta program, we can expect the Android 10 update to be comparably hefty. While the update is said to be rolling out in Germany right now, checking for it on your phones can’t hurt.
You can head over to Settings and System Updates tab to force check for an update. Let us know in the comments if you see the Android 10 update for your device in India. However, going by a previous update schedule that the company shared on the Samsung Members app, the Note10 series of devices are due for the Android 10 update in January. As for the Galaxy Note10, it is the company’s flagship handset that sports a new display design, renewed features and upgraded hardware.
