DTH players have started announcing new plans and offer after TRAI’s new directive came into effect. TRAI stated that every broadcaster needs to clearly define the pricing of their TV channels and viewers can select and pay only for the channels they want to watch. The new pricing takes Network Capacity Fees (NCF) into account for 100 channels and one has to pay an additional fee of Rs 20 for adding up to 25 more channels.
