Talk of wearables and fashion has gone quiet since the lead up to Apple Watch's 2014 debut, as many fashion brands now market tech wearables as niche products  —  When Apple introduced the Apple Watch five years ago, the whole tech industry began to flirt with style.  But interest in wearables has cooled.
