Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 with four rear cameras launched in India at Rs 36,990

Samsung’s first smartphone with a quad-camera setup, the Galaxy A9 (2018), has finally launched in India. The company reworked its strategy and is now introducing flagship features to its mid-range phones. The Galaxy A9 features a main camera, a telephoto lens, an ultra wide and a depth-sensing camera for capturing images. It features 3D Glass that is said to be scratch-resistant and a metallic frame, and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor along with face unlock.  Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) specifications The Samsung Galaxy A9 (first impressions) is powered by the Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2.2GHz and the remaining low-power cores running at 1.8GHz. It features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixel. The handset is backed by a 3800mAh battery that also supports fast charging and it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of optics, the Galaxy A9 features a quad-camera setup on the rear, which is vertically aligned in the top left corner. There is a 24MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture lens, an 8MP sensor with a f/2.4,120-degree ultra wide lens, a 10MP sensor with a  f/2.4 telephoto camera with 2X optical zoom and a 5MP depth-sensing camera with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it comes with a 24MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The main cameras of the phone are said to use Pixel Binning technology to merge four pixels in one for capturing additional details.  Samsung Galaxy A9 price, availability, and launch offers  The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2019) comes with 128GB of internal storage, which is coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM. The 6GB RAM variant of the phone is priced at Rs 36,990, while the 8GB RAM version will cost you Rs 39,990. Interested customers can pre-book the phone from today and it will be available via Flipkart and offline channels starting November 28. For launch offers, consumers using HDFC debit or credit cards will get to avail cashback of Rs 3,000. Additionally, both variants of the Galaxy A9 will be available via the Airtel Online Store. Its 6GB variant will be up for sale at a down payment of Rs 3,690 and monthly EMI of Rs 2,349, while its 8GB version will be available at a down payment of Rs 4,890 and EMI of Rs 2,449.  https://ift.tt/2OSHWFi
