OnePlus 7 may not be the company's first 5G phone, here’s why

OnePlus is one of the smartphone makers that recently announced its intention to launch a 5G capable smartphone in 2019. CEO Pete Lau reconfirmed the news to PC Mag saying that they are in talks with US carriers for a 5G phone for next year. However, the details have not been ironed out yet. Ever since the news came out, there has been a speculation that OnePlus 7 will be the handset in question that will support 5G.
