Google Meet rolls out optimized On-the-Go Mode, here’s how it works

Google Meet has introduced an optimized 'On-the-Go' mode that automatically disables video and provides larger buttons for common controls, improving the meeting experience for users who are mobile. The mode is activated when Google Meet detects motion or can be manually enabled. It aims to save bandwidth, enhance performance on mobile devices, and make it easier to use Google Meet on the move. The new feature is available to all Google Workspace customers and personal Google account users.
