How to set up and get started with WhatsApp Passkeys

WhatsApp is rolling out Passkeys to all users, replacing the SMS-based two-factor authentication. Passkeys can be created using facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, or a personal PIN. The feature is currently available on Android and will soon be available on iOS. To enable Passkeys, users need to have the latest version of the WhatsApp app and Google Password Manager installed.
