OpenAI launches office in Dublin with nine job listings

OpenAI, backed by Microsoft, is opening an office in Dublin, starting with nine open jobs. The Dublin office is not the company's European headquarters, and there won't be an executive running the office yet. OpenAI plans to grow deliberately to establish the company's culture before scaling up. Dublin is an attractive location for tech companies due to its talent pool and favorable regulatory environment. Tax implications did not play a role in the decision as OpenAI is not yet profitable. SAP Labs India plans to double its AI talent base by 2024

SAP Labs India, the largest R&D center for SAP globally, is doubling its AI talent base by 2024 to meet the demand for AI capabilities. Sindhu Gangadharan, Senior Vice President, stated that generative AI will fundamentally change the way businesses operate, and SAP is well-positioned to empower businesses in this transformation. SAP also announced a partnership with Microsoft to address the talent gap in AI and strategic investments in three generative AI companies.
