Byjus employees reportedly call of protest after 'emergency meeting'

Byju's employees have withdrawn plans to protest the company’s management after India head, Mrinal Mohit, called an emergency meeting and assured staff no further layoffs would take place. The strike had been planned for Tuesday 25 July and was expected to involve 9,000 staff members. Employees had not received variable pay since the last three quarters and incentives had not been paid for 12 months, according to sources. The health ministry has directed producers, manufacturers, and retailers not to manufacture, sell, or distribute e-cigarettes in any form or capacity.
