505 games confirms Death Stranding will launch on Steam and the Epic Store simultaneously

If you are a PC gamer looking forward to Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, then know that the game will launch on Steam and the Epic Store simultaneously when the game hits the PC in 2020. There is no concrete launch date for the PC version of the game, but eager beaver can pre-order the game if they like.

The previous AAA game published by 505 Games was Remedy Entertainment’s Control and the game did upset fans by being an Epic Store Exclusive. Fans were worried that Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding would be an Epic Store exclusive too, but thankfully that isn't the case.

If you are wondering whether your PC can run Death Stranding or not, there is some bad news for you. The developers haven’t revealed the minimum system requirements for the game yet but hopefully, this information will be revealed in the coming months.

Calling Death Stranding one of the most anticipated games of the year would be an understatement. Ever since the first trailer of the game was revealed, fans have been perplexed as to what the game is about. Now that the game has been released, it has been met with mixed reviews from critics and gamers alike. Some absolutely love the isolated gameplay giving you a melancholic feeling while making delivered in a post-apocalyptic world whereas others have called it nothing more than a glorified walking simulator. We at digit enjoyed the game for its story, cinematics, and parts of gameplay which are fun. You can check out our review of Deat Stranding here.

Samsung Galaxy S11 to come in three screen sizes and five variants overall: Report

If information circulating the internet is to be believed, then the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 will be available in three screen sizes and five variants overall. Known leakster Evan Blass has tweeted highlighting the screen size and some features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 flagship smartphone. In his tweet, he says that the Galaxy S11 will be available in three screen sizes - 6.4 or 6.2-inch being the smallest one, 6.4-inch being the mid-sized one and 6.7-inch being the largest one. He goes on to say that the two small variants of the smartphone will come in 5G and LTE variants whereas the largest 6.7-inch variant will be 5G only. He goes on to say that all the variants will have a curved glass design, and we shouldn’t expect a Galaxy S10e like flat panel on the smartphone. As far as launch is concerned, the smartphones are traditionally shown off around MWC, and the tweet highlights that the smartphone will be unveiled mid-to-late February.

Interestingly, Samsung isn’t going all out with 5G smartphones only. This is probably because the company expects the 5G rollout to be gradual enough to warrant the demand for 4G only phones. Also, 4G variants of the device will be cheaper than 5G variants.

Other rumours about the S11 family of smartphones hints that the device will have a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. With the S10 series, smartphones shifted to a punch hole camera design and there is no word whether this will be the design moving forward with the S11 family of devices. Samsung has also filed a patent with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) called “Space Zoom”. The patent is described as lossless zoom and it is quite likely that the S11 will attempt to do what the Pixel 4 is being known for — Astrophotography.

The patent describes it as the ability to zoom in on a subject without losing quality. It sounds like what Huawei has been doing with the P30 Pro or Oppo with the Reno 10X Zoom. The former even claimed that you can take shots of the moon using the mode. Samsung could have figured out a way to implement periscope telephoto zoom lens. It could also just be a way of applying digital zoom in tandem with image stacking to take zoomed shots without a big drop in quality. Other leaks suggest that the Galaxy S11 family of devices will use a new 108MP sensor. You can read more about it here.
